Confrontational DIY Youtuber (PESH)

At first glance, you run a normal and even useful DIY Youtube Channel. Your follower base grows at a pretty steady rate--first 10, then 20 followers. But then. Then. One day, erikwasright28239839021192839 decides he just has to comment on your video. “Real DIYers have the rough hands of a carpenter. Your hands are not rough. They are merely unpleasant to the touch. Pussy boy,” he writes. You can hear him through the computer, his petulant, greasy voice echoing and echoing in your head. Finally, you can’t take it anymore. In the next video, you say, “I appreciate all of my followers except erikwasright28239839021192839--” you have memorized every last number “--who may only comment upon my hands as he feels them close around his throat.” On the bright side, your video tutorial about turning unused recyclable plastic into shrinky-dink material garners over 7,000 views so go you!

Your friends or, as you call them, “potential viewers” are drawn to you by your transparent enthusiasm for homemade wooden shelving units and your enthusiasm for their niche tips for keeping blueberries fresh longer without refrigeration. Whether it’s tiny van living or homebrewed kombucha, you do provide them with something fresh and charming every week. And you really do love to learn, to hang out on the beach with a sponsor-provided beer in hand, and let loose! Preferably every night! And most preferably with people you trust. They also understand, however, that should they cross you, they will lose all favor forever. You’ve no time to keep around people who disrespect you. Or who mildly wrong you. Or even people who slightly annoyed you that one time.
