Naunet, Lost Child of the Nile
You side with Naunet, Lost Child of the Nile
There are many categories of undead. Restless spirits, ghouls and ghosts, zombies and banshees--all are welcome in Naunet’s Supreme Court of Recompense. Who is Naunet? Why, a child of course. You know the saying: Out of the mouths of babes comes justice. Naunet is a decolonial activist fighting to rid the world of the scourge of imperialism. As such, she has pledged to remove the three nightmare stones from the National Gallery of Horror and return them to the Ethereal Plane on her first day in office. Besides her campaign-defining declaration that she would oversee a year of global reckoning for grave-robbers, her stance on foreign policy is firmly isolationist. Says Naunet, “W̶̰̗͕̯͗ͨͨe̪̰̮̠̹ͧ͊͘ ̯̱͍̰̳̗͎̼̄̒̄͞m̷̲̩̄̃u̡̘̺̜͍ͮ̾͊s̨̰̟̖̫͈͊ẗ̹̠̪̭̪̥̳͍́̾̃ͦ͡ ̧̦͎̽ͩͅȩ͈̣͖̬̬̪͙͒n̼̩̤ͯ͗͘s̶͔̹̖͎͔̱͓̒ͣ̃ụ̢̪͍̞̔̽̊̅r̨̘̜̤̥͍ͣ̽ĕ̵̲̥̈́̂͗ ̣̞̖̳͎̼ͯ͆͝ǒ̝͓̼̖͟u̟͍̠̲̹̳̇ͭ̆͐́r͈̖̲̓͠ ͙̰͍̼̘̖̫ͧ̃ͫ͞o͈͕͚̘͕̞̬͎ͤ͑̌ͯ́ẘ̴̫̖̰̤̱̜̙ń̸͍̹̍ ̨̻̟͓̓ͅr͙͍̖̻̜̦ͤ̚̕ͅe͎̣̋́̂ͭ͠ã̻̙̼̜͡ľ̷̰̼͙̜̫̮̜̽̆m͇͔ͬ̇́ ̸͖̙͖̭͔̣̹ͭͨ̈́ͪḯ͚̗̯̀͝s̴̩̲̰̺͚̯ͤͬ̏̏ ̗̜̭̼̿ͤͨ́ͅs̖̥̜͇̙̤̊̊͠e̶̩͉͖̝̳͒̏ͨ̔c̵̭̙̋͐ͬu̙̱͇͍̦̇͝r̃̅͏̟͇̟̙͚̺͔ͅe͍͚̺̘̰̎̓̒̀ ̦̪̼̗̿̈́ͣͬ͡a̅͏̺̹̯̝̦n̢͍̖̓͋ͬ́ḏ͔͖̪͙̪̈́̀ ̣͇̓̍̊͛͜ṕ͇͇̯̮̝̝̼̃́r̞̰̩̜̭͌͡o̸͔͍̲͚̺̰̎ͯ̅s̞͎ͩ̒ͮ̍̀p͕͉̘͇̺̜͕͇ͬ̆͠e̤͙̚͢r̓ͪ̂҉̘̼̠̘̠̮̝o̶͓̘̾̃ͤ̍ụ̜͈̖̹̑̊́ş̙͓́ ̘̠̲̭̝͎̥͙ͩ̽͡b̰̳̪̲͔̼̟̿ͥͪ̕ē̯̝̟̓͢f̨̤̳̙͔̗̑ͪ̑̚ŏ̢̜͍̟ͮr̶̜̖͓̙͎̩̀ę̦̥̇̒̌̎ ̼̗̖̺̦̑̀w͎͙̠̠̘̩͕̆̈́͝ḙ̙̮̫͙̱̖̹͂̈͊͘ ̳̳̫͚̪̱̒̽̅̿̕h͕̘̪̉͊̕ä̞̜͕̱̋͑͟ͅv̫̖ͯ͝e̡̥̦̻͌̔̊ͬ ̸̪̦̜̦̤̱̫̿a̸̟̱̮̘̝̩ͨ͑ṇ̢͕̰͋y̸̜̬͈̱͈ͧͣ̃ ̷̲̬̯̣̎́b̧͙͍͆ͩ͑û̑̌̄͏͍̻͖̲͔s̥̗͙̱͇̊̾̕ͅi̻̣͈̠̳̍͡n̶̼̪̥̽̎̋ͫͅe̯͎̥͈̜̖̲̓́s̡͎̲͈̗̙͙͕̤ͣͧ͗sͧͪ͆͐҉͎̼̞̹̙͖ ͛͏̠̪̗͔͍m̱̝͈̹͙̏͗ͮ̀ͅͅe̲̣͓̩ͯ́d̰̼ͫ͊͑͋͡d͉͓̝ͮ̽ͧ̀l̨͔̥̲̙̦̖͙̂i͆̿̈̓҉̭͍̲n̼͙̗̟̊ͤ͞ͅg̻̹͛͑̈́͆͟ ̟̬͕̘ͫͨ͢ͅw̹̫͈̤͛ͬ̃͢i͑́͏̫̫̜̞̳͙͍t̞̞̭̋͗͛́h͚̲̭͙͙͛͆͢ ̢̳̩̻̮̟̱̟̆̉̌̔o͕͈̻̟̫̹̻̰͛͂̓͠t̜̫̲̭͖͊̕h̛͎̻̹̖̞̪̭̎̉̚ę̗̦̏r͓̞̳̾ͧ̋͠s̢̟̲̲̣͓͎̞̱̭̳̫͙̦ͪ͋͒̊̌̈́̈́̀'̋ͤ̐́͏̝̼.̰̖͈ͨ̚͘
Other than foreign policy, Naunet advocates for children’s rights and the right to free childcare. She knows the toll that lack of childcare can take on a family. When she was 7̔̔͏̖̲̜͍͓̥̤, Naunet wandered away from her mother--whose name she sadly can no longer recall--and into the river, where she drowned. There, under those rushing desert waters, her spirit lay dormant for many hundreds of years until some English “explorers” fished her out and took her far from her home and put her on display in a museum. But they had bitten off more than they could chew. Using her ingenuity and childlike imagination, Naunet escaped the cruel clutches of the British and found her way to the Realm of Lungweb and Ruin, our beautiful home.
Here, she rose through the ranks as first a representative of the Embodied Undead, then a judge for the Principality of Rot, and finally has been the acting representative of her Monstrous Discipline for the last several years. As Supreme Thing, Naunet pledges to work toward ã̐̾҉̹̬̰̲ ̙̬́͘c̬͎͈̲̹͚̯͍̒̍͡h̸͓̜̙͙̫͍̺͐̈̊̾i͎̻̪͈̯͍͔̟̇ͣͫ̕l̵̥̭̬̘͗d͎̟̬̪̬̝͕̆̎ͯ͑͟ͅ-̸̺̟͙̰̻͉ͦf̸̱̠̟̟͖͋͑̿͑r͗͏̥͚͉͔̫̳̯ǐ͖̯̗̹͎̪̻̪̑͊ͣ̀e̡̩̟̫͎̙̯ͮ̽͒n̛͚̹̜̹̯̤̻̅ͫ̓ͦd̶̦̪̜̣̙̠́ͥ̉l̨̹̥̫̮̫ͣyͪ̅̏ͭ҉̖̘̰ ͨ͌҉͍͓̳̠ͅȧ̢̤̯͗̍n̶̥̙͎̦ͯd̴͉͖͖̥̫̝̟̮̈͋̏ ͔̯̰̳͕͕̩̔̃͡m̮̞̦̲͐͝ͅo̵͍̱͍͂̑̾͌r̪̣ͬ̋͠ḙ̟͍̓͡ ̤̰͕̫̤̝̬̠ͪ̔͠d̨͔͎̭̯̆i͈͕ͥͣ̂͢v̷̟̻͓̀͊ͫ̒e͚̣͎͖̔ͨ͊͠r̮̺̗̲͈̟̥͌͂̀s̅͏̬̹͈̩e͚̠̭͌̋͟ ̜̙͌̂ͮ̀r͊͋҉̞̥͕̣͓̣̹ę̖̰̲̗̞͇ͥ̐ͭͩa̵̩̤̓̍l̺͓̪͙͔̮̪͆̃͋͒͠m̱̮͍͔̦̣̠̥͛̀͆͟ ͓̺̪̦̤͑̑͗̓́i̵̜̩̫̬̟̣͖̓̌ͧn͚͎̯̳̮͍̈́͞ ̡̘̠͛́͋w͍̺̪̪͖͉͈̫̆͊ͬ͊͝h̫̟̜͈̗̱͐͞i͔̤ͦ͛͟c̷̞͙̰̖͈̠̔͐̊̽h̲͙̥̭͍̄͂͞ ̸͓̥̒n̤̥̱̠̻̍̃̅͊͞o̘̳̖̬̤͔ͣ͡ ̗̜̹̤̞̠̼͆̐ͦͤ͘ͅr̘̤̜̜̘͐͘ͅe̩͉͖͋́͡l̪͚̟̞̪̲̟̬̿̓̿́̚i̞͔̟̼̞ͦͧ͟ͅc̡̣̙̘͖͒ŝ̡͚̯̺̌ͧ ̡̘͖̺͎̼̔̈́ơ͓͉̣̈́r̛̭̱̐͊ ̨̟͉̺̥̗ͣṙ̸͇̠̓̊̑e̢͚̘̭͎̙̳͚͑ͭmͧ҉̻̼̼a̡̪̤̱͙̺͙͊̔ì̟͍̹̻̲̲̬̞̂͂ͫ͝n͉̗̜͈̣͒̚͝s̷̖̤̬͚̠͍̎̄ͮ ̵̞̘̟̒ȧ͈̮̜̦̮̀ͥͪ͘ͅr̵̜͚͍͇̫͍͕̐̇ȇ̸̻͔̳͈̀ͬ̚ ̵̬̻̜̓͌ͥẻ̮̖̝̯̌͒̆̕v̷̗̝̤̳͓̦̬̔ẻ̤̦̟͉̂͝r̢͇̖̋̅̈́ ̘͖̼̤̭̖̙̯͒̚͡h̸̫̪̤͖͍̭̖̀͋ͤe͈̖̠̬͚͌̚͞r̹̖̪̖̍ͬ͌͞e̷̗̦̖̟̪ͮ͒ ̗̯̏̐ͯ̄͢a̡̖̟̘̞̱ͥ͗ģ͉̱̠ͭa̸̼̙̮̣̟͔̣͒͐î̻̠͎ͣ̎̌͜n̨̦͇̻̭̤ͪͤͅs̭͎̫̳̘͓̺̲͑͠t͕͚̱͈͒ͭ͝ͅ ͉͇͙̭̺͈ͯ̓̓ͤ́t̬̹̯̆͝h̢͖̞͎̼̣̙̥ͨ̋̓̑ͅe̶͇̫̯̹̲̙̹̐ͧì̞̝͝r̵͎͙͙̙̳͈͚̺͋ͧ
